Kūmarahou flowers create a native, natural lather—historically used by New Zealand Māori and gum diggers to clean the skin and clothes and remove resin from skin with no harsh chemicals. Kūmarahou contains natural saponins, which are soap-line substances that create a lather when mixed with water. These saponins have gentle cleansing and moisturising properties and are known for soothing and healing the skin.
